Compositions
I’ve written several works for full orchestra, including three concertos for electric violin. I’ve also written many chamber compositions for various ensembles, as well as underscoring for TV and film projects.
My general approach as a composer is profoundly influenced by the idioms of popular music—rock, jazz, hip hop—the music of our own contemporary musical culture. To me, music’s purpose is to communicate emotion, and to communicate we need a shared language.
