October 30, 2024 The brand new Tracy Silverman Project is kicking off with our first show at Blue Strawberry in St. Louis this Friday, Nov 1. We've been writing and rehearsing and having a funky good time. If you're in STL, come on out and say howdy! I'll be playing the "Overture" to my 3rd electric violin concerto, Love Song to the Sun, 2 movements from my 2nd electric violin concerto, Between the Kiss and the Chaos, and another short Brazilian-style jazz piece of mine called "Chorinho". Plus a few solo pieces without orchestra. Michael is a former student of mine who has distinguished himself as an expert in Swedish, Spanish and Arabic string styles, including becoming a virtuoso on the Swedish nyckelharpe.
