The American String Teacher Association (ASTA) national conference is like a big reunion for thousands of string teachers and players. I go every year to teach, to spread the word at my Strum Bowing Groove Academy booth in the exhibition hall and to hang with my peeps.
Since the best way to demonstrate Strum Bowing is just to groove, then that's just what we do all day long at the Strum Bowing Groove Academy Booth. With my son, Toby, killing it on guitar and one of our certified Strum Bowing instructors, Tim Kampen, grooving like a beast on cello, we quickly became the "party booth", where all the teachers would come to jam but warn their students to stay away from, haha.
