I love being on the road but I'm so glad to be home again, getting back to the podcast, Strum Bowing-related things and a few projects on the list.
I forgot how much fun it is to arrange strings. Just did a full-blown string orchestra arrangement and then layered 32 tracks of violins and violas for a cover of "The Way We Were" for the new "
Lest We Forget 2021
" album, produced by
Tom Emmi
. Broke out 2 violins, a viola and my 6-string acoustic made by the visionary luthier
David Rivinus
. It's all about that acoustic rich warm human thing. Real dynamics played with a real bow!
If you missed last week's update with all the photos from the
"Ficciones" world premiere
in NYC or want to see any past Scuttlebutts, I've got them all posted
here on my website
.
Finally getting back to my
For the Greater Groove Podcast
, which had been on a back burner. The new episode with my old Turtle Island Quartet partner, violist
Danny Seidenberg
comes out this Tuesday!
As always, I’d love to hear from you--just hit reply or comment/message me on socials below.
