Scuttlebutt - November 9

I happened to be at Joe Glaser's shop--he is the luthier who built my violins and is working with me on the top secret strap project below--and he said, "Hey, I've got the Sunflower Guitar for Ukraine here. You gotta sign it!"

The guitar was built by Linda Manzer as a gift to the people of Ukraine, the idea being to put it in the hands of as many great guitar players as possible so that they can post about it and help raise money. Here's Dolly playing it.

I protested that, while I do steal all my best stuff from guitar players, I'm not sure that qualifies me as an actual guitar player. But Joe assured me that if I posted about it, I was welcome to sign the case. I put mine right above Kip Winger's , btw.

Still working on the Silverman Strap System. I'd tell you more about  it, but I'm sworn to secrecy. All I can say is that it's a neck strap for acoustic violins that will change your life. Free the fiddles!!
coming soon!
I've been getting a ton of requests for this new video course, which is a quick 3-lesson overview of my Strum Bowing Method. It's available exclusively at SharMusic.com .
