Here's a quick behind-the-scenes shot in the studio. I'm recording demonstration tracks (finally) for my 22 Groove Studies for String Orchestra, which came out in 2018. It's a resource for teachers who are using the Groove Studies and the Strum Bowing Method in their classrooms, so I'll make it available for free on strumbowing.com.
Been meaning to do this for some time, obviously, but it's a bit involved--I'm doing all the violin and viola parts but the cello and bass parts will need to be recorded by people who can actually play those instruments. Projects that are time-intensive, cost money to produce and generate zero income are nothing new for me and many artists and educators, so that's why it got put on a back burner, but I am glad to finally get this out to the teachers. |
